This year, we based the corn maze theme on the 250th anniversary of the founding of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The border is the outline shape of Westmoreland County. The second shape is the extended “w” with the sunbeams rising from it. The maze design included 2 shapes and a combination of 22 letters and numbers. As you walked through the maze, there were 20 trivia questions and 9 pictures of “creatures hidden throughout.” The trivia and the pictures of creatures were all related to the theme of the maze. The trivia included facts on the county and the creatures are all commonly found in the county. Check out the aerial photo as well as the graph paper design that the maze was created from. We look forward to welcoming you to the corn maze in 2024!
